Trampolines for every backyard and every jumper
Our range runs from compact mini frames up to 16ft, in round and rectangular shapes, with both spring and springless bounce. The guide below covers how to work out which size fits your yard, what the two frame shapes actually do differently, and how the bounce changes between a coil-spring frame and a springless one.
Working out which size fits
Trampoline sizes describe the outside of the frame, not the mat you actually bounce on. The usable jumping surface sits roughly 30 to 40 centimetres inside that measurement, so a 12ft frame gives you a mat closer to 11ft across.
Before ordering, mark the frame diameter on your lawn with a rope or garden hose and walk around it. You want free movement on every side, and you want to look up as well as down — gutters, verandah roofs, washing lines and overhanging branches are what catch most people out.
Round or rectangular
Round frames pull jumpers gently back toward the middle of the mat, which makes them the easier shape for younger children and the more forgiving choice when two kids are taking turns. They also suit irregular yards better, since a circle wastes less lawn than a rectangle of the same area.
Rectangular frames spread the bounce evenly across the whole mat rather than concentrating it in the centre. That gives a stronger, more consistent lift wherever you land, which is why they suit older kids working on gymnastics or anyone who wants serious height. They need a squarer patch of ground to sit properly.
Spring and springless bounce
Spring trampolines use steel coils around the rim to store and release energy. The bounce is quick and responsive, and the springs themselves are simple to replace individually if one ever loses tension.
Springless designs move that job to flexible composite rods mounted beneath the mat, keeping the rim clear. The bounce is deeper and softer, and there is no spring pad to replace as the years go by.
Keeping one in good condition
Australian UV is harder on a trampoline than rain ever will be. Enclosure netting and spring padding are the components that age first, and both are available separately here. Taking the mat and pad off over winter, or fitting a cover, adds noticeably to their working life.
Brands we stock
Our range includes Everfit and the Lifespan Kids HyperJump series, alongside accessories and spare parts to keep an older frame going rather than replacing it.
